Label projects include albums for EMI, Warner, Electra, Atlantic, Polygram, Sparrow, Reunion and Word records, 2010 Winter Olympics as well as innumerable jingles and soundtracks. He performed sessions for 3 huge NBA games for EA and the now world renowned Humble Brothers with their monstrous soundtracks. Other gaming drum sessions include Motor City USA, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 and The Simpson's Road Rage. He played drum sessions for the NBA promo package / video starring Montell Jordan in 2003. Other notable recent drum sessions include tracking for Holly McNarland, Serena Ryder, Shari Ulrich, Hong Kong star Eason Chan, Juno Award winning sessionsd for Brian Doerksen and 2 albums for young guitar star Hedras Ramos. Phil has done sessions with or worked with people such as Chad Kreoger of Nickelback, country music hit writer Brett James, Micheal Bienhorn (Chilli Peppers), Dave Pierce (Composer and producer for the 2010 Olympics, Broadway and the Calgary Stampede), Bob Rock (Metallica, Motley Crue), Mike Fraser (ACDC, Aerosmith), Rhys Fulber (Delirium, Fear Factory), Greg Reely (Sarah McLachlan, Delirium), Rolf Hennemann (Heart, Al Stewart), Michel Fadel (Nader Guirat), Dave Slagter (Klaatu, Rush), Pat Glover (BTO, Paul Rogers) etc. Phil had the pleasure of accompanying American music icon Ray Charles on live television, as well as the likes of K.D. Lang, Bryan Adams, Nelly Furtado, Sarah McLachlan and Nikki Yanofsky before a 3 billion strong live television audience as part of the opening gala ceremonies of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. Other live work includes playing with the Roger Hodgson of Supertramp, David Foster Band, Michael Bublé, Burton Cummings, The Canadian Tenors, Paul Janz and Anthony Lun and Hermans Hermits . He and Tad Campbell were the core founding members of the Juno award winning Idle Eyes who toured with Toto, Tears for Fears, Bryan Adams, Human League and Tom Cochrane and Red Rider. Phil recently was the session drummer and the house drummer and anchor for the 40 piece 'Calgary Stampede Grandstand Show' showband from the period of 2004 to 2008 playing to 22,000 people a night as well as a Gemini Awards appearance in 2009.
